We were celebrating a birthday and Benihana's is an excellent venue for something like that... Jamie was our waitress, she provided us with excellent service, order-taking, refill on drinks, extra silverware, etc. Also she helped us with the birthday cake that we brought, she was fabulous !!! Sanl was our chef, he put on a show that delighted the kids, and amazed all of us, not to mention the food was prepared perfectly and delicious !!! Last, but not least, Ramez the manager was incredible. He came over to the table several times to see how things were going. He connected with my little nephew Noah. Who had ordered lobster for the first time in he's life and couldn't wait to tell Ramez how great it was... Super Cute

Had lunch at the bar area, my first time. Prices are more reasonable than teppanyaki style and very generous servings. I had the lunch boat with steak, tempura, sashimi, California rolls, edamame, rice, soup and salad. Still had some leftovers to go. Not bad for $26. Service was speedy and friendly. You can even have a late lunch here after 2 but no dinner. Not much people too. Good to know.
I've been to many Benihana places in the bay and NONE of them tops this one. The usual ones I've been too has the food lacking flavor and usually the appetizers like the soup and salad that comes with the hibachi are the only things that are good. Not this Benihana. The meats are super flavorful, the chefs are so engaging with the table, and everything else is a plus. I also highly recommend the Pina Colada. Super yummy with your meal!! Everytime I eat here, I'm already craving to come back the next day! The view is also amazing to see the water outside.

What a fun way to celebrate my husband's birthday! Kids were mesmerized by the cooking show which including funny and delightful tricks. The food was yummy & satisfying (steak was excellent), and the kids' menu portions were generous. I was also impressed by the number of times the staff offered to take photos of / for us (eg whenever I attempted a selfie).
Came for dinner tonight to celebrate the husband. We had the best service from Derek. They were professional, warm, and so prompt with everyone's requests. He really made our experience a lovely one with his above and beyond care. We will be back again, hopefully we get Derek as our server!
